So Alan's cute little nephew has been up at Primary's Hospital and while that isn't a good thing we were really excited to finally have all the Andersen cousins all in the same place. We have never had all the cousins together that I can recall. It is pretty difficult when everyone lives in a different state. But we were really excited for this photo opp. even if it had to be at the hospital.

I'm unique
Something unique about Ali is that she has something called a T tooth. We call it her sharp tooth. It is really pointy and is attached to her front tooth. In fact it is so pointy that if she bites down really hard it pokes her tongue. She loves her tooth and loves to show it off to people. It will be interesting to see what it looks like when it falls out.

Jake Marius Davis
Jake Marius Davis 12/6/2007 ~ 7/18/2010 Our perfect baby boy and awesome little brother courageously returned to the loving arms of our Heavenly Father. Jake's powerful Viking spirit and loving nature endeared him to all who were fortunate enough to know him. Jake's ability to find joy in the simple pleasures of life, eating popsicles and playing with his brothers, is a beautiful example of how life should be experienced. We'll miss your funny facial expressions and charming personality. It has been a privilege to be a part of your short, but wonderful life. Until we see you again - Love Mom, Dad, McCall, Zane, Mormor in Norway, Grandmas and Grandpas, as well as all of your family and friends in Norway and the U.S. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 22, 2010, 11:00 a.m., at the Midway LDS 2nd Ward, 1102 S. Center St., Midway, UT. Family and friends may call Wednesday night from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Olpin-Hoopes Funeral Home, 288 N. Main, Heber, UT, and Thursday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the LDS church. Interment will be in the Midway City Cemetery.
My cousins little boy passed away this past week. We received a phone call from my mother on July 3rd informing us that little Jake was on his way to PCMC because he had drowned. For the next two weeks this sweet little boy clung on to life and peacefully passed away on the 18th of July. The funeral was amazing. His parents are two of the strongest people I know. If only they knew the impact they have had on me over the last few weeks. I have always had a testimony of Heavenly Fathers plan for us but because of Derick and Ragnhild I have a new stronger and deeper testimony of that. This sad situation was also a wake up call that we only have our children for a short while. I now take every single opportunity to tell my children how much they mean to me, how much I love them and how proud I am to be their mom. I also take a little longer at night with each one of them. I hold them a little tighter and stare at them a little longer. I hope the Davis family knows how much they mean to my little family, what a strength and inspiration they are to us. They have forever changed my life.

Holy DREAM!!!!
Okay so I expect the ship to be large but never could have imagined exactly how big. I am pretty sure my jaw dropped for a few seconds until I snapped out of it and closed it. I was so excited to get on the ship by this point but the boys had to return our fabulous rental car (Grand Marquis). So Brooke and I paced back and forth until the boys finally returned to the ship. The check in process was easier then I had anticipated it only took about 30 minutes. Once on the ship I was still in awe by the size of the ship. We headed to our room to check it out. We decided to do an interior stateroom for our first cruise because Alan is a little timid of the water and I was nervous that looking out to the water would make me sea sick. Our room unlike the massive ship was tiny. But it served it's purpose and I loved the fact that during the day we could take a nap in complete darkness. Our friends had a balcony room which next time we are definitely going to have, it was incredible. My favorite thing was taking our nightly stroll around the deck on the boat. I loved the sea air and the light mist that I felt on my skin as we walked at night. The ships name fits, this trip was totally a DREAM!!!

About Me
- Amanda
- I love being a mom. My kids are my world. I love the sweet spirit they bring into our home. Alan and I have been married for 11 years, I can't believe it has been that long. It seems like no time has past at all. I am truly grateful that I married my best friend. He is my rock!!! My kids are so amazing, they teach me new things every single day. As for my hobbies I love to scrapbook although I haven't done any since before Kade was born, I love to dance and seem to have passed that gene to my daughter. I love to sing when no one is around. I love when my house is clean and the laundry is done and I have nothing but time to just play and hang out with my children (this doesn't happen nearly enough). I love watching my kids discover new things and watching them play together. I am so very grateful for the life I have and the people I get to share it with.
